When “normal” isn’t normal.

I saw this great blog post from the SCD Lifestyle blog and thought it was worth sharing. A lot of people with digestive conditions always ask, “When can I go back and eat normal food.” Often what they mean by “normal” is fast, junky, processed convenience chemical concoctions. When you research the ingredients used in the food and the processing required to make it edible without killing someone instantly, it becomes anything but “normal”.

Normal food is what comes from living animals or plants and it’s what can help you regain vibrancy and overall good health. It’s been doing that for millions of years. Modern day processed food has been around for about 50 – 60 years. Diseases have been growing exponentially in that same time frame.

Think about that.
